  2. hey ky, im actually a strong believer that women should be allowed to teach and impact the church that way. I mean look at all of the women who did in the new and old testiment. And then there are many doing it today and winning many souls for christ. I cant find one single reason why a women shouldnt teach that doesnt also apply to men.

whats your opinion on this subject?

  3. I'd say look at the Bible. It is very specific about this subject. When I look at I Corinthians 14:34-35, I see what it says. Another good verse to look at is 1 Timothy 2:12. I don't see any other way to look at it. If the Bible says that Women are not allowed to preach, then it's a sin if you do. And listen, what I'm saying is not made up, you can check out these verses out if you want, that's why I put them up.
I don't think it's wrong for women to teach other women. But women teaching men is wrong, just look at 1 Timothy 2:12. I'm not trying to be dogmatic, but when I read the Bible and it says, "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. . ." then I automatically think 'okay women teaching men, is against God's will, and therefore wrong.'
Thats all I see, no hidden message of "oh well, maybe that's not what Paul really meant to say, maybe he meant at home, not at Church... or maybe just since it was written so long ago, it doesn't apply anymore..."
Just because our cultrue nowdays accepts women teaching in church, doesn't nessisarily mean it's right. There are many things our culture accepts today that are serious problems that need to be addressed. This is one of them. At least that's what I believe. And I didn't just make all this up, I went to the Bible, didn't add any of my own oppinions, it's all in the Bible.
Sorry for the long comment, but you asked for it. :)

  5. ... haha I know this will be REALLY random, but I was looking through all the comments on the old posts on 3nail liberty (like, from when you posted on it.) It was kinda funny. That would be back when I read your blog like all the time and you actually read mine every now and then ;) *cough* hint *cough*. Naw, actually it's fine that you don't read my blog because the silly thing won't even let me post anymore.
